***THIS IS THE FIRST STEP OF TRAINING FOR MANAGEMENT***
Please complete the 2 training videos, the quiz, and the test to move forward to live training. The first step in our management onboarding process is for all managers to complete the full field-agent training.
Because you will be leading a sales team, it’s important that you understand the field-agent process. The materials below are designed specifically for field agents, and you’ll be expected to know this information as a manager.
Once you pass the test, you will receive the required documentation to sign and proceed with onboarding. After completing the videos, quiz, and test, you will also become eligible for paid live training!*
Complete the quiz for part 1. After completion, move on to part 2 of the training.
Complete the Test for part 2. A manager will reach out for boarding after this step is complete.
After finishing the 4 videos, quiz and test, you will be boarded with a regional manager for live training. All managers are required to complete 1-2 weeks of live field training. The training lasts 5-10 business days, and you must complete all assigned days to meet KPI payment requirements. We pay $700 for a completed week of live training. Your field tenure as a manager will be 1-2 weeks in the field before moving into the office permanently. You must complete all requirements below for weekly payouts. **Please note that you must be actively participating in sales functions and running to receive the bonus at time of sale completion.
With your manager's assistance, you should contact at least 30 businesses a day for 5 days.
During your prospecting, you will need to record (if allowed in your state) 30 prospect pitches provide these recordings to your manager and trainer for review-coaching.
You will need to set 4 appointments with business owners daily to present our product every day for 5 days. These appointments must be shared with the manager and placed on your company calendar.
During training, you will need to attend the team lounge calls for coaching.
Please note that the SALES AGENT document packet is below. As a manager, you will be required to be familiar with the documents and the process behind them. During your 2-weeks of live field training, you will be using the documents below. Your New Hire Documents will be amended with the Manager Addendum after field training. The manager addendum can be found in the manager packet you were provided during the interview. You can find a copy here. You must study and understand the agent hand-outs before building your team. Please review all documents below.
Review the NHP and agent documents. A copy will be sent via e-sign after completion of training.
After your field training, you will transition to working full-time in the sales office, Monday through Friday, following the manager schedule for your location.
During your first 30 days in the office, you will focus on two main goals:
Complete 5 sales (from your team or inside sales)
Build a team of 8 sales agents.
About half of your team members will come from our recruiting department and will already be trained. The other half will be selected by you from incoming resumes. You will be provided FULL TRAINING support on all the tasks below, live, in-person with a lead manager at the office. Please download both required packets below.
Our recruiting team will be providing you with 2-6 set calls a day with agents. You will need to call, pitch and convince them to join training. The recruiting training packet can be found HERE.
In addition to set-calls, you will be selecting agents from resumes and inviting them to training. Your manager will provide you with resumes and/ or an application data-base for use. Your goal is to hire 8 agents as quickly as possible.
After inviting an agent to training, you will be sending them the training information and monitoring their graduation. You should follow up with your agents at least every 48 hours until they have completed the quiz and test as you did previously. Their new-hire documents will be sent from AdobeSign for signature after completing the training. Link for agent training: HERE
Finally, you will assist your new agent into the field on Day-1. This includes a meet-and-greet call, called the "Hot Session". This call goes over the Agent Tools, Prospecting Guide and provides the agent with their first leads to work with. You can find the Hot Session Guide HERE and the Day-1 link HERE.
The next step after your team is built, is to hit your sales targets by managing your team to successful sales. You will be required to hit targets monthly, with a 1-month grace period for missed sales targets. First and foremost, we are a sales company and targets are a big part of who we are. Growing your agents into successful sales-people is the best way to hit your targets and a great sales agent team will make you a fantastic income.
As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring your agents have ongoing training after they graduate to the field. This includes, training calls, daily lounge trainings, explaining hand-outs, field coaching, call coaching, in-person shadowing and group sessions when required. Your supervisor will guide you as required on how to complete this training with your agents.
Sales agents are regularly in contact with merchants and will often move between different locations. Your role is to help coordinate their “sits” — scheduled meetings with merchants.
When an agent arrives at a merchant’s place of business, they will call you for a sit call. During this call, you will record the initial details and outcome of the visit in our tracking system.
Almost all your initial agents will be very new to the product and PiePay. During merchant sits, they will require someone experienced to assess the business, suggest equipment, field objections and complete the final close. Your main job as a Sales Manager at PiePay to help your agents complete the final close with a customer and fill out documents.
PiePay is always looking for talented individuals to grow into upper-level roles. We promote internally for most positions, which means you will be considered for advancement as you continue to develop with us. Your career here is just beginning, and merchant processing is an exciting, lucrative field with strong long-term growth potential.
One of the long-term opportunities at PiePay is the possibility of owning your own office. With our proven system and strong track record in developing successful sales offices, this path can be an excellent way to advance your career in merchant processing.
You become eligible for office ownership after 24 months with the company and once you meet the required sales thresholds.
